Appeals
ECPACC is committed to a fair and transparent funding process. Unsuccessful applicants have the right to formally appeal funding decisions made by the Eastern Cape Provincial Arts and Culture Council. All appeals are reviewed in accordance with our established policies and procedures to ensure that every applicant is treated equitably.
Who can appeal
- Applicants with denied funding applications
- Applicants who believe the evaluation process was unfair or inconsistent
- Applicants who were partially funded and wish to contest the outcome
Grounds for Appeal
- Procedural irregularities in the assessment process
- Non-compliance with the published funding criteria by the evaluators
- Non-compliance with the published funding criteria by the evaluators
How to submit the Appeal
- Complete the Appeals Form
- Submit within 30 days of receiving the outcome
- Submit via email to info@ecpacc.co.za or hand deliver to any of the offices
